This Man I Call My Husband Needs to Go Back to Work!!

Sarge's back surgery went well. He's still able to wiggle all 10 toes and he still has control over his bladder. Thank goodness! I've changed enough diapers! He's walking without as much pain these days, which is a very good sign! So good in fact, that he needs to go back to work.

He has three more weeks before he heads back and I really feel like creating a paper chain to tell me when the big day is! Don't get me wrong, I love my husband, but he's driving me CRAZY!!!

"Don't double knot my shoe!"

Honey, it's an automatic thing. I've been tying other people's shoes that way for the last 9 years.

"I need to be let out of my prison!"

Okay, but you are going to have to wait until I'm done with the dishes, the laundry, the sweeping, the mopping, and making sure that toys aren't all over the place, so that you don't break your back again.

"I don't like potato casserole, can you make me something else?"

No. I make one thing and one thing only, eat it or starve.

Do I sound cruel? Maybe, but honey, this momma and wife is simply trying to survive at this point in time. My husband needs to go back to work.
